The offenders abandoned their motorcycles and passengers upon spotting Governor Sanwo-Olu’s convoy. One of the offenders, identified as a lance corporal in the Army, was arrested along with his bike.

The incident occurred as Governor Sanwo-Olu was en route to the inauguration of Chief of Staff Femi Gbaja’s substantial project in Surulere constituency. In the video, Sanwo-Olu is seen leaving his vehicle to approach the road offenders, including the soldier, and subsequently ordering their arrest. All of them were placed in his Prado Vehicle, following his instructions given to his extensive security team.
