Maduagwu suggested that Davido’s artistic evolution might be hindered by the company he keeps.
He asserted that if Davido continues to associate with individuals like Tunde Ednut and the Cubana Chief Priest, Portable could potentially surpass him and win a Grammy.
Maduagwu expressed: “Davido, the individuals surrounding you are impeding your spiritual growth in music. It has become so detrimental that even Buju, Tacha, Phyna, and others are shading you relentlessly.
“Tunde is diminishing your brand, please, what exactly does Chief Priest contribute to society? If you persist in this manner, Portable might achieve Grammy success before you.”
Meanwhile, controversial former Big Brother Naija contestant Natacha Anita Akide, popularly known as Tacha, recently disclosed that she received death threats from Davido’s fans.
She revealed that the threats ensued after she called out the Afrobeats icon for endorsing a defamatory tweet about her.
