Vandalism Strikes Rivers And Bayelsa: Thirteen TCN Towers Sabotaged

Ndidi Mbah, TCN’s General Manager of Public Affairs, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday.

The TCN has called on the Rivers and Bayelsa state governments to help address the escalating problem of vandalism, which has become increasingly severe.

This incident follows previous attacks on the Ahoada-Yenagoa transmission line.

A new contract has been awarded for reinforcing towers 19-31 on the same line, where previous vandalism had already occurred. Despite these efforts, the recent destruction of thirteen towers poses a major challenge for TCN.
