Visa Ban Uncovered: Timi Frank Reveals Reason Behind Trump’s Move On Nigerians

In a statement released on Friday, Frank commended U.S. President Donald Trump and Congress for implementing the policy, describing it as a necessary move to pressure Nigerian authorities into greater accountability.
He hailed the restrictions as a positive development and a demonstration of America’s commitment to global security.
“Their intervention has highlighted issues our own leaders have long refused to address and has given Nigerians renewed hope that this nightmare can end,” he said.
Frank explained that the policy has forced the Nigerian government to revisit long-neglected concerns regarding terror financing and the lack of transparency in security management.
He criticized Nigerian authorities for failing to publish the list of terror financiers reportedly identified by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in past investigations.
“The government has allowed political interference and corruption to stall the prosecution of those responsible for the country’s insecurity,” Frank alleged.
He further warned that, without Trump’s intervention, Nigerian leaders would likely have continued to ignore the issue.
Frank also advised the U.S. to exercise caution in sharing sensitive intelligence with Nigerian officials until the purported list of terror sponsors is publicly disclosed and genuine efforts are made to bring them to justice.
“Nigeria has the capacity to tackle insecurity, but the problem lies in the lack of political will, entrenched corruption, and vested interests,” he asserted.
