Galadima argued that Kwankwaso played a crucial role in securing Ganduje’s victory as the governor of Kano State in 2015. He emphasized that Kwankwaso funded the election without Ganduje’s financial support. During an interview on Arise Television on Monday, Galadima underscored the delicate nature of Kano as a volatile state, cautioning against disruptive political actions.

According to Galadima: “Ganduje should refrain from interfering with the governance of Kano by inciting actions that are not appropriate. In Kano, achieving a one-party state is implausible. Kano is a volatile state, and we cannot afford to witness two political heavyweights clashing on its streets. This is why Tinubu is questioning Ganduje, asking if Kwankwaso is not his mentor.”

Galadima continued: “Ganduje should not be a disruptive force in Kano politics, jeopardizing the lives of its residents and hindering them from enjoying the benefits of democracy. This is something Tinubu wishes to avoid. It is incumbent upon Ganduje to reconcile with Kwankwaso. Kwankwaso never engaged in conflict or rivalry with him; he allowed Ganduje to govern the state as he saw fit.”

Highlighting the historical context, Galadima stated: “In 2015, Ganduje won the election without spending a single kobo, thanks to Kwankwaso’s support. The victory of senators and local government chairmen was all orchestrated by Kwankwaso. However, after four years, Kano residents rejected Ganduje’s approach, and he attempted to incite conflicts, which is his modus operandi. Therefore, it is Ganduje who should approach Kwankwaso, kneeling and seeking forgiveness.
