Obi had stated during a Sunday X Space session with his supporters that he would honour a deal to serve only one term if elected president in 2027.

However, during an appearance on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Tuesday, Sani questioned the credibility of such a pledge, saying that none of the potential 2027 presidential hopefuls — including Obi — could be considered beyond reproach.
