Wike Sets The Record Straight: Attended Supreme Court as A Concerned Nigerian, Not With APC

Wike made this statement while downplaying his association with APC leaders at the Supreme Court. Following the Supreme Court’s rulings on the appeals filed by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party against President Bola Tinubu’s election, Wike addressed journalists.
Wike expressed that the verdict had put an end to all speculations and congratulated Mr. President. He emphasized that he did not attend with the APC group, and no affiliation between APC and PDP was mentioned in court. His purpose in attending was simply as an interested individual who desires progress for the country.
He further stated that with the conclusion of the legal process, President Tinubu can now concentrate on delivering the benefits of democracy to Nigerians.
