Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run Accident On Lagos-Badagry Expressway

A hit-and-run driver fatally struck a woman on Friday morning on the Mowo section of the Agbara-Badagry Expressway. According to Mr. William Manga, Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Badagry, the incident occurred at 6:00 a.m. The FRSC received reports of the accident at 11:25 a.m. and arrived at the scene shortly after, at 11:26 a.m.

Manga confirmed that the accident took place at the Mosafejo-Mowo stretch of the Badagry Expressway and involved an unidentified vehicle. The woman sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead before the FRSC team arrived. Her body has been taken to the mortuary at the General Hospital in Badagry. No belongings were found with the victim.

Manga urged pedestrians to exercise caution when crossing expressways and called on motorists to adhere to speed limits and other traffic regulations.
