You’re Behind Sammy West’s Arrest!” – Sowore Slams Ned Nwoko Over Regina Daniels’ Family Feud

Human rights activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has strongly condemned the arrest and detention of Regina Daniels’ younger brother, Samuel Ojeogwu, popularly known as Sammy West, describing it as a clear abuse of power.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Sowore accused Senator Ned Nwoko and the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, of orchestrating the young man’s imprisonment at Keffi Prison in Nasarawa State.

According to reports, Sammy West was arrested in Lagos on November 4 by operatives allegedly acting under Nwoko’s influence. He was later moved to Abuja, where he was arraigned before a Dutse Magistrate Court on November 6 without any legal representation. The court then ordered his remand in Keffi Prison until November 28.

Family members have since raised the alarm, claiming Sammy was denied access to legal aid and kept incommunicado following his arrest. They alleged that his detention is tied to the ongoing domestic feud between Nwoko and his estranged wife, Regina Daniels.

Sowore, in a fiery statement shared on Facebook, condemned what he called an act of tyranny and demanded the immediate withdrawal of all charges and the unconditional release of Sammy West.

He wrote:

“I have again been informed that the so-called criminal billionaire and APC Senator, Prince Ned Nwoko, has conspired with the illegal Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to unjustly imprison a young man at the notorious Keffi Prison. The victim in this latest act of tyranny is Samuel Ojeogwu, aka Sammy West, the younger brother of Nwoko’s estranged wife, Regina Daniels.

“It is deeply unfortunate that this unholy alliance of impunity between Senator Nwoko, certain elements in the Nigeria Police Force, and some pliant magistrates continues to thrive. I therefore call on the authorities to end this lawlessness immediately and release Sammy West without delay.”
