2.Political leaders and traditional rulers in the North have rejected the Value Added Tax (VAT) sharing proposal included in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Tax Reform Bill currently under consideration in the National Assembly. They expressed support for the livestock reform initiative, which has resulted in the establishment of the Livestock Development Ministry.
