I Have Not Seen President Buhari For 4 Years- Benue State Governor Ortom Gives Reasons
Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has said that he has not been allowed to see President Muhammadu Buhari for four years now. He said that the President is a nice and honest man, but that he is surrounded by corrupt people. Governor Ortom stated this during a recent interview with Vanguard.
He said that his comments about the security situation in Benue State made him to be labelled as a bad man by the presidency, and added that he was only speaking up on behalf of his people, and that if his people tell him not to speak up again, he would stop.
He said that his state has been denied a lot of things, and that nothing comes to Benue again from the federal government.
He said – “I have not seen the President for four years, they have blocked me and I said fine, let me stay and do my work because I was not elected by the presidency. I have been denied a lot of things that would have come to Benue state, nothing comes here.”
