Ribadu emphasized that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is firmly committed to ensuring a peaceful election. He stated, “Any effort to undermine, interfere with, or disrupt the smooth conduct of the polls will be regarded as an attack on our democratic principles.”

He reassured that the administration’s dedication to a peaceful election should not be mistaken for weakness. “We will protect the integrity of the election using all lawful means available. Those who seek to disrupt the process will face the full force of the law. Law enforcement agencies are on high alert and prepared to act swiftly against any threats.”

Ribadu encouraged voters in Edo State to participate confidently, knowing that the government is committed to safeguarding their votes. He stressed the importance of reporting any suspicious activities or threats to the authorities, emphasizing that vigilance and unity are key to preventing election disruption.
