In an interview on Wednesday, Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who was previously accused of threatening Obi’s life, alleged he had been targeted with numerous threats.
Taking to social media, Paul criticized Morka for distorting facts, describing his statements as contradictory and confusing.
“Listening to Felix Morka stirred a mix of emotions—hilarity, disbelief, frustration, and anger. His remarks blurred the lines between truth and fabrication, leaving even the interviewers baffled. At one point, he accepted ‘available data,’ only to later deny its validity,” Paul wrote.
Paul pointed out inconsistencies in Morka’s statements, highlighting a specific remark: ‘Whatever is coming to him, he should manage.’ According to Paul, this contradicted Morka’s claims of being a victim of threats, making his narrative difficult to trust.
He further accused the APC government of orchestrating false reports about Obi’s arrest, labeling it a tactic to test public reactions.
“Should anything happen to Mr. Peter Obi, his associates, or anyone connected to him, Felix Morka and the APC government will bear full responsibility. Their televised threats are on record, and they cannot escape accountability,” Paul stated.
He vowed that the issue would not be overlooked, emphasizing the continued pursuit of justice and transparency despite alleged attempts by the ruling party to manipulate the narrative.
