Content creator and streamer Carter Efe has revealed that Afrobeats superstar Davido played a major role in one of the most financially rewarding moments of his career, after appearing on one of his Twitch livestreams.

Carter Efe, who made the disclosure while speaking on a recent episode of the Cocktails & Takeaways podcast, reflected on his growth in the streaming industry, his relationship with Davido and the expanding influence of digital entertainment in Nigeria.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the content creator said Davido’s appearance attracted a huge audience to the livestream and significantly increased his earnings, describing the experience as a major turning point in his financial journey.

Carter Efe disclosed that the money generated from the livestream was the highest he had ever earned from a single streaming session.

“Davido made me the most money of my life on a stream in one night. I became a big boy overnight,” he said.

The collaboration took place in December 2025, when Davido joined Carter Efe during a Twitch livestream that reportedly attracted more than 80,000 viewers at the same time.
