G-5 is a group for members of the People’s Democratic Party namely former Governor Ugwaniyi of Enugu, Ex-Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Governor Ikpeazu of Abia State, and Governor Wike of Rivers State, who openly worked against the interest of their party in the just concluded general elections.

President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is building more bridges ahead of the 2027 presidential election same time ensuring good governance is served to the people he was employed to govern.

Although it is important to note Ortom worked for Obi, lost his senatorial bid and the All Progressive Congress emerged winner in Benue while Ikpeazu, Wike, Makind and Ugwaniyi worked for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
