God Can Be Trusted! Couple Celebrates Arrival Of Baby Boy After 15 Years Of Prayers

A Nigerian couple, Abinye Douglas Pepplechi and his wife, Tochi, are celebrating the arrival of their first child, a baby boy, after 15 years of waiting and prayers.

Tochi shared the joyful news in a Facebook post on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, describing the birth as a precious answer to their prayers and reaffirming her faith in God.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the new mother expressed deep gratitude for the blessing, recalling the couple’s 15-year journey of hope, patience and persistent prayers before finally welcoming their son.

“God can be trusted! God has blessed us with the precious gift of a son! After 15 years of waiting, praying and holding on to hope, our hearts overflow with gratitude as we hold this beautiful answer to prayer in our arms,” she wrote.

Quoting 1 Samuel 1:27, Tochi reflected on the significance of their long-awaited blessing, noting that their years of waiting had now become a lifetime of thanksgiving.

She also encouraged individuals and couples still hoping for similar blessings not to lose faith, assuring them that God sees their tears, hears their prayers and remains with them through every season of life.
