Iwuanyawu expressed his concern about the hardships faced by the people of Southeast due to the sit-at-home orders, which have led to mayhem, loss of lives, destruction of property, and economic setbacks in the region.
He pointed out that these orders have affected businesses, transportation, and the overall business environment in the Southeast.
The Ohanaeze leader called for an end to the sit-at-home orders and urged security operatives to exercise prudence in their duties to prevent further loss of innocent lives in the region.
He also commended the Southeast governors for their efforts to address the situation and sympathized with families who have suffered losses during these events.
The call for discussions with Simon Ekpa and his group aims to find a lasting solution to the challenges caused by the sit-at-home orders in the region.
