The Governor made this announcement during a courtesy visit to the Ibenanawei of Bomo clan, King Joshua Igbugburu, and other paramount rulers in the region who had gathered at the palace in Ekowe community.
Furthermore, Governor Diri expressed his commitment to awarding the contract for the next phase of the project, which involves the construction of the road from Aguobiri to Eniwari community.
He stated, “For us, Bomo clan is our home, and we value the continuous royal blessings we receive from you. You have consistently shown great kindness to us.
Our administration has been involved in life-improving projects for nearly four years, particularly the Yenagoa-Oporoma-Ukubie road, which has generated considerable excitement among the people.
We are determined to accelerate the state’s development. When you give me your mandate for a second term, we will achieve our target of driving to Oporoma next year. Following that, we will proceed with the next phase of the project, which includes the road from Aguobiri to Eniwari community.”
