Members of the committee gathered at Room 211, the designated venue for the interface with the CBN governor, from 3 pm to 4:30 pm as per the resolution. However, due to unforeseen delays, the meeting was postponed to Friday.

Senator Abiru explained the postponement, stating, “After waiting for close to two hours for the CBN governor on the planned interface, we have resolved to postpone it to Friday this week by 9 am prompt.” He emphasized that the delay was a result of the ongoing engagement between the CBN governor and other officials with the House of Representatives, making it uncertain when their session would conclude.
