The intelligence report that led to the discovery mentioned a suspicious polythene bag near River Chika-Chika, approximately 200 meters away from the main road along Gida-Dubu quarters in Ningi local government Area of Bauchi state. In response, operatives from the Ningi Police Divisional Headquarters, led by the Divisional Police Officer, promptly cordoned off the area and successfully recovered the concealed firearms, which included two AK47 rifles, one AK49 rifle, and nine empty magazines.
Commending the swift and effective action of the officers involved, Commissioner of Police CP Auwal Mohammed Musa urged them to sustain their intelligence-led policing efforts to achieve the command’s objectives.
