She articulated her wish for men to be more attuned to their emotions, akin to women, highlighting the societal conditioning that often portrays emotional vulnerability as a weakness among Nigerian men.

During a recent conversation with actor Efa Iwara, Naya disclosed her thoughts on what she would alter about men, emphasizing the importance of emotional openness. She stated, “I wish men were more in touch with their emotions like women are. And vulnerable, women appreciate that so much.”

Naya underscored the significance of vulnerability in relationships, noting that when a man is capable of being vulnerable with a woman, it signifies deep affection. She remarked, “One thing I have noticed is that when a man is able to be vulnerable with a woman and can’t explain how and when it happened, he’s in love with that woman. It’s done [laughs].”

Furthermore, she lamented the societal stigma surrounding vulnerability in men, advocating for a shift in perception. She expressed, “I feel like men, essentially Nigerian men are conditioned to believe that vulnerability is a sign of weakness. And I don’t agree with that.”

In conclusion, Naya called for a cultural shift that embraces and celebrates the vulnerability and sensitivity of men, fostering healthier relationships and emotional connections.
