According to the police statement released on Monday night, a new method known as “Shifting Chair-One Chance” has been identified as the latest tactic utilized by these criminal elements to victimize unsuspecting Nigerians. Authorities are urging citizens to exercise heightened vigilance, particularly when boarding vehicles that lack commercial coloring or proper identification markings.

The advisory emphasized the importance of staying alert and avoiding unmarked or unidentifiable vehicles to minimize the risk of falling prey to these criminal activities.

The prevalence of one-chance robbery has been a growing concern in major urban centers, with cities like Abuja and Lagos State experiencing a surge in organized criminal activities.
