Members of the Niger State House of Assembly have unanimously expressed their confidence in the leadership of State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, for his dedicated efforts in advancing the ‘New Niger Agenda’. This affirmation came during a plenary session presided over by Deputy Speaker Afiniki Dauda, following a motion by Muhammed Sani Idris of Tafa Constituency.

The legislators commended Governor Bago for his exemplary governance, particularly highlighting his administration’s strides in infrastructure, agriculture, road networks, education, and security enhancement. Notably, they acknowledged significant improvements in the state’s security landscape under his stewardship.

Furthermore, the assembly urged the State Government to prioritize the reconstruction of the Minna to Kaduna Road via Sarkin-Pawa in Munya Local Government Area. This initiative aims to facilitate smoother vehicular movement between Minna and Kaduna State.

Deputy Governor Comrade Garba, present at the session, expressed gratitude to the lawmakers for their vote of confidence in the governor.
