Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, emphasized the efficacy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in the nation’s capital. During his inspection of the ongoing 7.3-kilometer Gaba-Tokulo road in Bwari Area Council and the 5km temporary access road from the Outer Northern Expressway (ONEX) to the old Keffi road in AMAC, also known as Saburi road, Wike acknowledged the challenges posed by the rugged terrain and security threats in the area. However, he expressed optimism that hope has been restored to the council through the ongoing construction of the vital Gaba-Tokulo road.

Highlighting the significance of the infrastructure projects, Wike assured that the 5km temporary access road in AMAC, which generated considerable excitement upon its inception, would be completed within the year. He underscored that Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda extends beyond the urban center to encompass rural areas, ensuring equitable governance impact.

Wike reaffirmed the commitment of the FCT Administration to constructing rural roads across all six Area Councils, aiming to provide essential infrastructure to residents in these areas. He emphasized that the Renewed Hope Agenda aims to foster inclusive development, bridging the gap between urban and rural communities.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda is not confined to the city centers. It is designed to integrate rural areas into the administration, ensuring that every segment of society benefits,” Wike stated. He emphasized the administration’s dedication to fulfilling its promises and improving the quality of life for residents across the Federal Capital Territory.
