Governor Otti, profoundly moved by the incident, denounced the attack as a “dastardly act” perpetrated by criminals aiming to destabilize the state. In a demonstration of this commitment, Governor Otti announced the provision of automatic scholarships for the children of the deceased soldiers, extending up to the university level.
