During a recent interview with Joy 99.7 FM in Ghana, Dominic opened up about her early days in the industry.
She expressed, “I simply desired to pursue acting. Honestly, at that time, Nollywood wasn’t financially rewarding, but my passion drove me.”
Reflecting on the challenges she faced, Dominic continued, “It was tough. However, we persisted because of our love for the craft, which was our main motivation.”
When asked about her lowest paycheck for a movie role, she disclosed, “For my first film, the filmmaker paid me N35,000. However, he owed me N25,000 for several months. He even failed to settle the balance, only giving me N10,000 [laughs].”
