The host nation is set to face off against the Super Eagles for the tournament’s ultimate prize at the Alassanne Ouattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan, on Sunday.
Earlier in the competition, Emerse Fae’s side suffered a 1-0 loss to the Super Eagles during the group stage.
Haller, however, emphasized the Elephants’ determination for revenge and the pursuit of the championship title this time around.
“We are heading into the final against Nigeria, a formidable nation. The challenge is significant. They emerged victorious over us in the group stage,” Haller conveyed to BeIN SPORTS.
“Nonetheless, we are highly motivated to clinch the trophy on Sunday in this stadium, in the presence of the Ivorian people. We are eager to seek retribution against Nigeria.”
The highly anticipated encounter is scheduled to kick off at 9 pm Nigerian time.
