Just yesterday, Bayo Onanuga, a special adviser to Mr. President, released what turned out to be a false press statement claiming that the UAE had lifted the ban on Nigerian travelers. However, mere hours later, Onanuga retracted the statement, advising Nigerians to disregard the circulating press release.

In response, Oseni Rufai expressed his frustration, labeling the government as “agents of misinformation” and accusing them of attempting to divert attention from the prevailing hunger crisis. He likened this tactic to the failed efforts of Orosanye in halting a strike, emphasizing that evidence of their propaganda is readily available.
