Additionally, ANSEC allocated ₦2.65 billion for the construction of 3.9 kilometres of internal roads at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli Campus — a project awarded to Anyi Supreme Industries Ltd. Also approved was ₦2.1 billion for the development of internal roads at the Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, to be executed by Mid-East Construction Company.
Other significant projects include:
-
₦528.6 million for the completion of a country club at the Ekwulobia Stadium Complex (Crystal Dove Construction Company Ltd),
-
₦97.3 million for the rehabilitation of Nya Ranch Road in Awka (Anambra Road Maintenance Agency),
-
₦65.7 million for additional works at the Onitsha Specialist Hospital in Fegge (Crystal Dove Construction Company Ltd), and

₦55.1 million for installing traffic safety devices such as signs, speed bumps, rumble strips, and caution lights across the state (Vadakris Ltd).
Furthermore, ₦718.6 million was earmarked for renovating deteriorated structures at the Nwafor Orizu College of Education, with contracts awarded to Biggstruct Engineering Ltd, Zonel Projects Ltd, and Euro Energy Resources.
In line with social reform, the council reaffirmed its dedication to the Anambra Rebirth Programme — a cultural revitalization initiative designed to promote Igbo values of diligence and integrity. The programme will launch under the Igbo proverb “Aka aja aja na-ebute onu mmanụ mmanụ”, meaning “hard work brings wealth and happiness.”
As part of transport sector reforms, ANSEC also approved a new initiative to retrain drivers statewide. Drivers found guilty of serious traffic violations will face blacklisting, reinforcing efforts to improve safety and discipline on Anambra roads.
These extensive measures underline the Soludo administration’s ongoing commitment to transforming infrastructure, education, and societal values across Anambra State.
