Oluwatoyin made these remarks in response to the recent 15th BRICS Summit that took place in South Africa, attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Highlighting the need to enhance investment and trade relations between the two countries, Oluwatoyin called for the establishment of a business visa regime.
He stated that the foundation of stability in a complex multipolar environment lies in the promotion of development partnerships.
While emphasizing the importance of strengthened international cooperation and safety, Oluwatoyin also stressed the need for South Africa to enhance community policies and ensure the safety of Nigerians in their communities for a harmonious coexistence.
He further advocated for a review of emigration policies that promote fairness and Pan-Africanism among nations. Additionally, he called for the resolution of lengthy court cases and the promotion of an impartial justice system for Nigerians in South African courts.
Oluwatoyin disclosed, “The APC and ANC have agreed to establish a framework for party-to-party engagement. It is not enough to have these noble and progressive ideals.
We have to be prepared to work together tirelessly and resiliently to face challenges and setbacks we will encounter. Unity of purpose and acting together is indispensable to realize and defend the various development objectives and the commitment to diverse cultures and civilizations.”
The BRICS-Africa platform, according to organizers, serves as a forum for deliberation, information exchange, and exploration of mutually beneficial partnerships that can become a new driving force for development.
