However, sources speaking to Vanguard have revealed anxiety over the list, with indications that the President has been editing the previously prepared list.
The President reportedly expressed his interest in selecting ministerial nominees personally from Rivers, Kano, and Lagos states, while Vice President Kashim Shettima is given the freedom to nominate ministers from the North-East.
Specifically concerning Rivers state, party leaders are divided, with a majority reportedly opposing the alleged nomination of former Governor Nyesom Wike.
Those against Wike have officially written to President Tinubu, while other party members who worked tirelessly for APC’s victory have threatened to leave the party if the President neglects their contributions to the party’s existence in the state, despite facing a hostile environment created by the ruling PDP.
