In recent days, Asari Dokubo has found himself at the center of attention following a viral video where he brandished an AK-47 rifle, issuing threats directed towards the Igbo community and IPOB. The emergence of the video coincided with his meeting with President Tinubu at the State House. Notably, Dokubo also expressed his opposition to the release of Nnamdi Kanu.
In response, Atiku’s aide, Bwala, took issue with the former militant leader, reminding him of how he faced prosecution under the administration of President Obasanjo. Bwala expressed concern, noting that many Nigerians had advocated for Dokubo’s release during that time.
“Why is Asari Dokubo insisting and saying Nandi Kanu should not be released, when he(Asari) himself was being prosecuted by OBj, people were fighting for his fundamental rights and release”, Bwala wrote.
