According to documents obtained by TMZ, Bad Bunny alleges that Eric Guillermo Madronal Garrone, operating under the YouTube handle MADforliveMUSIC, uploaded complete song performances without consent.
The lawsuit asserts that Garrone attended Bad Bunny’s February 21 show in Salt Lake City, Utah, capturing multiple videos of the live performance and disseminating them online without authorization.
Bad Bunny claims ownership of the performance’s music rights and asserts that Garrone’s actions undermine his official YouTube presence, diverting both views and advertising revenue.
Despite Bad Bunny’s attempts to utilize standard takedown procedures under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to remove Garrone’s videos, the fan contested the removals, prompting the singer to pursue legal action.
Bad Bunny seeks an injunction preventing Garrone from further online sharing of concert footage, alongside compensation either in the form of a fixed $150,000 per video or demonstrable damages resulting from the unauthorized postings.
