Doyin shared that she values companionship more than the institution of marriage. She emphasized that her approach to dating is not centered on finding a life partner but rather enjoying the company and connection with someone.
“I don’t date with the sole intention of getting married; it’s more about having a good time and companionship,” Doyin explained. “While intimacy is a part of companionship, it’s not the main reason I date. Whether or not it leads to marriage, I’m content with the companionship and life partnership.”
She further elaborated, “What matters to me is having a lifelong companion, not necessarily being legally married. Marriage, to me, is not crucial, and I don’t intend to diminish its significance.”
Doyin concluded by highlighting the importance of companionship in her life, expressing her desire to find someone who will be her companion for life, regardless of legal marital status.
