The rededication mass was a momentous occasion, presided under the esteemed guidance of the Catholic Metropolitan Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Benin City, His Grace Most Rev (DR) Augustine Obiora Akubeze, who emphasized that it represented not only the rededication of the physical structure but also the rededication of the hearts and spirits of the parishioners.

The ceremony was described as a remarkable and deeply spiritual journey, brimming with a sense of fulfillment as the doors of the remodeled church were joyously opened for worship.

The remodeled church building proudly showcases an array of remarkable facilities, including a stunning gallery, a spacious altar that has been expanded, meticulously designed office spaces, and various other notable features.

Distinguished guests and representatives from various Catholic organizations attended the rededication mass, showcasing the unity and diversity of the Catholic community. Reverend Fathers, Reverend Sisters, Knights and Ladies of St. Mulumba, St. John, and St. Paul were present, alongside members from the Catholic Men Organization, Catholic Women Organization, Christian Mothers, and Catholic Youth Organization from across the metropolis.
