Biden’s Cancer Spreads To His Bones, Family Reveals Latest Health Update
Former United States President Joe Biden is facing a worsening health battle after his son, Hunter Biden, disclosed that the cancer affecting him has spread to his bones and other parts of his body.
Hunter made the disclosure during an interview with the BBC while discussing his father’s ongoing battle with the disease and the impact of his condition on the family.
According to Hunter, Biden’s illness has become increasingly painful and debilitating, making the situation difficult for his family to watch.
He said the cancer had progressed beyond its original location and spread to Biden’s bones and other areas of his body.
Hunter, Biden’s only surviving son, said the family had found the situation particularly difficult because of the pain and weakness associated with the disease.
He also described his father as a devoted parent, husband and grandfather who remains at the heart of the family despite his health challenges.
“I wish he would complain more, because it’s not good, the cancer has spread and further. It’s very painful… very debilitating. Cancer is really hard. It’s really sad to watch. My dad is, to this day, the centre of our family. He’s the best father, the best husband, the best grandfather,” Hunter said.
Biden disclosed his cancer diagnosis in May 2025, several months after leaving the White House.
He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, which doctors said had already spread to his bones.
Following the diagnosis, the former president said he was responding positively to treatment and expressed appreciation to those who had offered prayers and support.
Biden had previously maintained an optimistic outlook about his treatment, saying his doctors expected the medication to help manage the disease.
He also disclosed that his treatment included medication administered over a period of several weeks.
