BREAKING: Aiyedatiwa Nominates Sowore, Five Others As Commissioners In Ondo State

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has taken a significant step in strengthening his administration by nominating six individuals for appointment as Commissioners to aid in the effective governance of the state. READ FULL ARTICLE HERE
In an official statement released on Friday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, Governor Aiyedatiwa has submitted the names of the Commissioner-nominees to the State House of Assembly for thorough screening and confirmation.
The nominees, carefully selected for their diverse expertise and experience, include Mrs. Omowumi Isaac (ACCA), Mr. Olukayode A. Ajulo (SAN), Engr. Razaq Obe, Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan, Barrister Akinwumi Sowore, and Mr. Oseni Oyeniyi.
Governor Aiyedatiwa has also appointed three Special Advisers to contribute their insights to specific areas of focus. The nominees for Special Advisers are Hon. Olugbenga Omole (Special Adviser on Information & Strategy), Mrs. Olamide Falana (Special Adviser on Gender Affairs), and Mr. Alabi Johnson (Special Adviser on Energy).
The nominations and appointments reflect the governor’s commitment to assembling a competent and diverse team that can effectively address the multifaceted challenges facing Ondo State. The list includes individuals with backgrounds in finance, law, engineering, pastoral care, legal advocacy, and general administration.
The governor’s decision to seek confirmation from the State House of Assembly emphasizes transparency and adherence to due process in the appointment of key officials. The screening process is expected to provide legislators with an opportunity to assess the qualifications and suitability of the nominees for their respective roles.
