At the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday, amended charges were filed against Ali Bello and Daudu Suleiman, including Yahaya Bello, by the EFCC. The charges claim that they diverted approximately N100 billion from the state government in September 2015, prior to Bello assuming the governorship.

Adeyanju, a native of Kogi State, wasted no time in commending the EFCC for their ongoing efforts, stating, “Kudos to the EFCC for charging Yahaya Bello with N100bn fraud. I must quickly add that the charge is an insult to White Lion. EFCC should amend it to reflect the real amount looted from our state.”

Echoing his sentiments through his social media platform, he reiterated, “EFCC, declare Yahaya Bello wanted now. EFCC, declare Yahaya Bello wanted now. EFCC, declare Yahaya Bello wanted now. EFCC, declare Yahaya Bello wanted now. EFCC, declare Yahaya Bello wanted now. EFCC, declare Yahaya Bello wanted now. EFCC, declare Yahaya Bello wanted now.”
