The purpose of the visit was to extend Christmas greetings to the President.

Among the governors in attendance were Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Dapo Abiodun, Biodun Oyebanji, and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, representing Lagos, Ogun, Ekiti, and Kwara states, respectively.

Also present were governors Abba Kabir Yusuf, Hope Uzodimma, Yahaya Bello, and Dauda Lawal, representing Kano, Imo, Kogi, and Zamfara states, respectively.
