In the trending footage, Minister of FCT Wike and his colleague, Heineken Lokpobori, the sitting Minister of State for Petroleum, were caught in the act of spraying naira notes—a practice that EFCC has denounced and taken action against in recent times.
Recall that three prominent figures, including Cubuna Chief Priest and Bob Risky, have faced or are currently facing legal repercussions for the same offense.
Reacting to the viral video, Deji stated: “Dear @officialEFCC, I hope you are not turning a blind eye? Politicians are blatantly abusing the Naira.”
