During a recent high-level meeting, key representatives from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the British High Commission in Abuja, and Propcom+ convened to deliberate on Edo State’s forward-looking agenda.
Mr. Kelvin Uwaibi, the Managing Director of the Edo State Investment Promotion Office (ESIPO), unveiled the state’s strategic partnership with international development collaborators.
This strategic alliance aims to attract investments, particularly in the thriving oil palm value chain and other essential commodities, with the ultimate goal of diversifying the state’s sources of revenue.
Ms. Martine Sobey, the Climate Change and Nature Team Leader at the British High Commission in Abuja, led the FCDO delegation.
