One-time presidential aide, Reno Omokri has given more reasons why Nigerians should celebrate Nigeria Police Officers.

In his words, he said;

“Last year in America, a total of 1097 people were killed by the police. And an estimated 100,000 people were also injured by the police in America in 2022. Please do not take my word for it. Research it yourself.”

“As bad as you think the Nigerian Police are, they do not kill or injure anywhere near the proportion of Nigerians that the American police kill of their own people. Yet, Nigerian police officers are underpaid and overworked. More police officers die at the hands of civilians in Nigerian than vice versa. Unknown gunmen kill them. Boko Haram neutralises them. IPOB finishes them. Bandits eliminate them. Yet they keep showing up for work.”

“Please don’t get carried away by professional complainers, who only complain because they see their social media following increase as they gripe. If not for the Nigerian Police, many urban areas in Nigeria would be at the mercy of Boko Haram, bandits, killer herders, unknown gunmen, and kidnappers. Now more than ever, the Nigerian Police are our friends. If you doubt this, let them go on strike for only one week. You will be the one to beg them to be your friends!.”
