Within the same period, the report discloses N10,675,820.29 spent on leave bonuses, while N506,434,736.31 went to unspecified items labeled ‘others.’ Notably, the state government recorded zero allocations for water facilities, hospitals, health centers, libraries, and ICT infrastructures.

The report also reveals that Uzodimma approved N30,000,000 for poverty alleviation and allocated N200,000,000 to Heartland Football Club. It discloses N133,886,325.69 spent on transport and N5,000,000 on constructing and equipping the gatehouse at the deputy governor’s lodge.

Despite his recent controversial reelection on November 11, criticized by opposition parties as suppressive and rigged, Uzodimma faces mounting criticism from civil societies and groups, accusing his administration of causing hardship, insecurity, and a rise in criminal activities in the state. The Imo State Liberation Movement, echoing concerns, has raised alarms about the state’s alleged deterioration under Uzodimma’s leadership.”
