In a statement issued by her media aide, Busola Kukoyi, Senator Tinubu assured that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is committed to mitigating the impact of fuel subsidy removal until the benefits of the policy come to fruition.
She pointed to her initiative, the Renewed Hope Initiative, as a testament to her commitment to support the government in this endeavor. Hence, she sought the backing of the wives of service chiefs in accomplishing this shared goal.
Senator Tinubu acknowledged the importance of engaging various associations to reach women in different barracks, aiming to assure them of the government’s good intentions for the country. She called for patience and highlighted the belief that challenging situations will eventually lead to positive outcomes.
She stated, “We believe there is always light at the end of the tunnel. It is a greater Nigeria we are looking out for and it is a legacy that our children and generations yet unborn, we would leave a Nigeria we can relate better as Nigerians and also look for the good of this nation and the wealth of this country can be greatly enhanced.”
