In his remarks, Pastor Giwa claimed that Obi’s actions were merely meant to entertain Nigerians and questioned his loyalty to Atiku, the person who brought him into the spotlight. He also pointed out the futility of Obi’s sudden change in political party and alleged pretense.
Citing Proverbs 16:5, Pastor Giwa emphasized that God does not tolerate arrogance, pretense, and betrayal. He warned of potential consequences and assigned responsibility to politicians for any negative outcomes in Nigeria.
Pastor Giwa reiterated his earlier assessment of the last presidential election, describing the candidates as two old men he deemed as thieves. He further criticized Obi’s social media presence as a presidential candidate and claimed that he had gained wealth at the expense of the unaware public.
The pastor urged Obi not to waste his time and reminded him that true judgment comes from the Lord, who looks beyond outward appearances to the heart.
In addition, Pastor Giwa expressed the hope that the current president or any future leader would prove his assessments right or wrong, emphasizing the need for corrupt politicians to prioritize the welfare of the citizens and ensure the fair distribution of national resources.
