Highlighting the transformative impact of his time in prison, Nyame emphasized the significance of the experience in shaping him into a better leader for the people of Taraba State. He declared, “I learned a lot while in Kuje Prison and in the hospital. If given another opportunity to lead the people of Taraba State, I will do better because of the experience I have gained.”

Asserting that his imprisonment was politically motivated, the former governor, who served only four years of a 14-year sentence, urged leaders to exhibit faith and resilience in the face of challenges. Despite personal reflections on his ordeal, Nyame delivered a message of hope and unity for Nigerians, underscoring the importance of prayer and faith in the nation’s future.
