Reports indicate that Ibas issued this directive during Worika’s inauguration at the Executive Chambers of Government House on Wednesday night. Congratulating the new SSG, Ibas emphasized that his selection was not just an administrative appointment but a strategic move aimed at restoring order and public trust in Rivers State.

Highlighting Worika’s vast expertise in law, policy, and international governance, Ibas urged him to apply his knowledge effectively in steering the affairs of the state. He reiterated his administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and service-driven governance.

Addressing the demands of the office, Ibas encouraged the new SSG to rise to the challenge and work collaboratively with civil servants to ensure seamless administration.

Ibas also appealed to civil servants and permanent secretaries to cooperate fully with the administration, emphasizing their crucial role in ensuring effective governance during this transition period.
