Recall that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu had previously faced a seventeen-year prison sentence, which was subsequently overturned by the court. However, it is worth noting that he still has an ongoing corruption case pending with the anti-graft agency. Similarly, Ibori had been imprisoned in the United Kingdom for money laundering, serving a thirteen-year sentence, of which he completed four years.
He captioned the photo he shared on Twitter;
