This initiative aims to cultivate young talents as ambassadors for tree planting, instilling a culture of environmental responsibility from a young age.
The project, supported by partners such as the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), emphasizes infrastructural intervention with a focus on women and children.
Jauro made these announcements during the commemoration of the 2023 World Children’s celebration organized by UNICEF Bauchi Field Office in Gombe.
Notably, the state government had previously approved N503 million as counterpart funding before receiving World Bank approval for the project.
