Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State recently hosted members of the National Assembly from the state at his residence in the Old Government House, Jos. The meeting was aimed at fostering collaboration among the state’s leaders to rebuild Plateau and ensure its equitable development.

During the gathering, Mutfwang briefed the federal lawmakers on his administration’s vision to restore the state’s former glory and promote progress across all communities. He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation across political party lines, calling it essential for the success of the Plateau project.

“We have come to the realization that without unity and collaboration, Plateau cannot move forward,” Mutfwang stated. “Today marks a new beginning as elected representatives from various political parties, including the PDP, APC, and Labour Party, have resolved to work together for the benefit of Plateau.”

The Governor underscored that the Plateau project was about advancing the state’s development and improving the lives of its people, regardless of political affiliation. “This meeting signifies our collective determination to set aside political differences in the interest of the people of Plateau,” he said, adding that the harmonious atmosphere of the discussions was a positive sign for the future of the state.

Ahmed Idris Wase (Wase Federal Constituency and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives), Hon. John Dafaan (Quan’pan/Shendam/Mikang Federal Constituency), Hon.
